Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more if desired)
- 6 oz thin green beans haricot verts, trimmed & washed
- white pepper to taste
- ground ginger to taste
- 1 large clove of garlic minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Heat the butter and crushed red pepper flakes in a small sauté pan over medium heat. Add the washed and trimmed green beans (or haricot verts) to the pan then season with white pepper and ground ginger, to taste. Cover with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes or until fork-tender. Add the minced garlic and soy sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes. I made thin haricot verts but if you use bigger green beans then add more cooking time. Side Note: Add a tablespoon or two of water if the pan is dry. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
