This spicy maple syrup recipe is so good and so simple. Use this sweet and spicy syrup on waffles, pancakes, sausage, and even ice cream.

Ingredients
- 2 cups maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon ancho chili powder
Instructions
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup, ancho chili powder, and paprika. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Store in a mason jar.
