Spicy Margarita Recipe

Liven up any fiesta with these Jalapeño Margaritas — a spicy twist on the classic margarita, featuring tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and spicy jalapeño slices.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 3 oz lime juice
  • Lime slices
  • Tajín (chili lime seasoning)
  • jalapeño slices

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Pour simple syrup or agave syrup in a small saucer. Pour tajin seasoning in another sauce.
  2. Dip the rim of the glass into the simple syrup, then the seasoning. Add 3-4 slices of jalapeño into the glass.
  3. Add tequila, triple sec & lime juice to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  4. Shake for a few seconds then strain into your prepared glass.
