Spicy Persimmon Sparkler

Fall and winter flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon are mixed in with ripe persimmons to create a delightful and spicy champagne cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 Fuyu persimmons chopped
  • 1 ounce honey
  • 1 ounce water
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch ground cloves
  • Bottle of Champagne AIP Reintroduction

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Blend the persimmon, water, cinnamon and cloves using an immersion blender or a small blender.
  2. Pour a 1-2 tablespoons of the persimmon mixture into champagne glasses.
  3. Top each glass with champagne.
  4. Serve with a slice of persimmon.
