Spicy Pimento Cheese

This homemade Spicy Pimento Cheese is a version of the southern classic with a little kick thanks to the addition of jalapeno peppers.  This pimento cheese spread is rich, creamy and highly addictive!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz chopped pimentos drained
  • 4 oz jarred jalapeños drained and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried onion flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. With an electric mixer mix the cheese on low to combine and then on high for 1 minute.
  2. Place the cheese in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least two hours so the flavors can meld.
  3. Serve with crackers, chips, as a sandwich, or on veggies.
  4. Enjoy!
