Spicy Salt and Lime Black Sea Bass with Mango and Black Bean Salad

Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • ¼ C fresh lime juice
  • 3 Tbsp Mille Sel De Guerande Spicy Salt
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 Black Sea Bass Filets 4 oz each
For the Mango and Black Bean Salad
  • 1 large mango diced
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1 15 oz can black beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ green onions diced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, spicy salt, and olive oil. Place the sea bass filets in a large bowl and coat with half of the marinade. Let sit covered in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  2. While the fish marinates, combine the mango, bell pepper, black beans, and green onion in a large bowl. Toss with remaining marinade and set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet to medium high. Add a couple tablespoons of olive oil, then add the sea bass filets and cook for 6 minutes, flipping the filets halfway through. Serve immediately with a heart portion of the mango and black bean salad.

Notes

  • You can cook the fish with the skin attached or removed. We personally cooked with the skin on.
