Ingredients

Non-Alcoholic Caramel Apple Cider (Makes 1)
  • 8 oz. spiced apple cider
  • 4 teaspoons salted caramel sauce
Spiked Caramel Apple Cider (Makes 1)
  • 6 oz. spiced apple cider
  • 4 teaspoons salted caramel sauce
  • 2 oz. bourbon

Instructions

  1. Please note: The Caramel Apple Cider can be made in a large cocktail mixing glass. It will be warm, so proceed carefully.
  2. Garnish your heat-proof mugs with cold caramel sauce around the rim, if desired.
  3. Pour the homemade apple cider into the mixing glass. Measure in the salted caramel. Stir vigorously until the caramel is incorporated into the cider.
  4. Once combined, add the bourbon, if desired. Stir with a spoon to incorporate.
  5. Pour the prepared drink into a heat-proof mug.
  6. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and an additional drizzle of salted caramel sauce, then enjoy immediately while warm!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave until warmed through, then garnish as necessary.
