Starbucks Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew (Copycat Recipe)

Ingredients

Cold Brew Coffee
  • 16 ounces water
  • 1/2 cup coffee coarsely ground
Vanilla Syrup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Golden Foam
  • ½ cup milk 2%
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Syrup
  • 1½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew
  • ice
  • 8 ounces cold brew coffee
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Syrup
  • 3 tablespoons golden foam

Instructions

Cold Brew Coffee
    Cup of Yum
  1. Use either a French press or a large mason jar, add 16 ounces of water to the vessel.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of coarsely ground coffee.
  3. Place a lid on the container and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  4. After 12 hours, separate the coffee from the grounds. If using a French press, press down the plunger and pour off the water.
  5. If using a Mason jar, pour the coffee through a coffee filter.
  6. Store cold brew coffee in the refrigerator.
Vanilla Syrup
  1. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook just until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the stove and let the sugar syrup cool to room temperature.
  4. Stir in vanilla. Store this vanilla syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Golden Foam
  1. Combine 2% milk, heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of the prepared vanilla syrup, olive oil into a blender.
  2. Blend until the mixture is well aerated.
  3. If you do not use all of it immediately, store it in an airtight container in your refrigerator.
Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew
  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup.
  3. Add cold brew coffee filling the glass 3/4 full.
  4. Add golden foam.

Notes

  • Pro Tip: Use high-quality extra virgin olive oil with fruity (rather than peppery) notes for the best flavor experience.
