Steak Herb Butter

If you love steak, this recipe for steak herb butter will change your life! Not only will it add a delicious herby flavor to your dish, but it's also incredibly easy to make. The combination of fresh herbs, garlic, and lemon zest creates the most delicious compound herb butter - you won't want to eat your steak without it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened, salted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon parsley fresh, minced
  • 1 tabelspoon basil fresh, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme fresh, minced
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary fresh, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all of the ingredients and mix well.
  2. On a lined sheet, portion out tablespoons of the steak herb butter.
  3. Place in the freezer for 2 hours, until frozen.
  4. Remove and put them in a storage bag or container.
  5. Place back in the freezer.
  6. Use as needed.

Notes

  • Optional add-ins: chives, or any other herb you want to use.
