Ingredients
- 1 pound large peeled and deveined shrimp
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 Juice of one lemon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- chopped green onions
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ½ cup honey, ¼ cup soy sauce, 3 cloves minced garlic, and 1 juice of one lemon. Add the mixture to a sealable container with the 1 pound large peeled and deveined shrimp and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- In a medium-sized skillet, add the 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and shrimp, and save the marinade. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Turn the heat to medium-high and cook the shrimp until it turns pink, 2 minutes each side.
- Pour the reserved marinade over the shrimp. Cook until the sauce starts to thicken and coats the shrimp. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
