Ingredients

  • 1 pound large peeled and deveined shrimp
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic 
  • 1 Juice of one lemon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the ½ cup honey, ¼ cup soy sauce, 3 cloves minced garlic, and 1 juice of one lemon. Add the mixture to a sealable container with the 1 pound large peeled and deveined shrimp and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium-sized skillet, add the 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and shrimp, and save the marinade. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Turn the heat to medium-high and cook the shrimp until it turns pink, 2 minutes each side.
  4. Pour the reserved marinade over the shrimp. Cook until the sauce starts to thicken and coats the shrimp. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
