Sweet and savoury, this Sticky Orange Glazed Chicken Thighs is one of my favourite ways to make chicken thighs. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or as an easy lunch meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha optional
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 8-10 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a saucepan, combine the orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, and honey. Add sriracha if you want a hint of heat to the sauce. Let simmer on medium-low heat for 30 minutes or until thickened.
  2. In the meantime, season the chicken thighs with the salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat a skillet to medium heat with olive oil.
  4. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet, smooth side down. Cook in two batch if needed.
  5. Pan sear for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for 6 to 7 more minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. When done, set aside until the sauce is ready.
  7. Meanwhile, wipe down your skillet or grab a new one. Add in the cooked chicken thighs and the honey orange glaze and let the sauce simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes while spooning the sauce on top of the chicken thighs.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
