Ingredients

  • ¼ cup oil (any high smoke point oil with a neutral flavor, such as avocado oil, vegetable oil, or canola oil)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 pound Chrysanthemum Greens (washed and drained well)
  • 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat your wok over high heat until it just starts to smoke. Add the oil, quickly followed by the garlic and chrysanthemum greens. Stir-fry for a few seconds, then quickly add in the light soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and salt.
  2. Stir and mix everything well (still over high heat), until the greens are wilted. This should take no more than 2-3 minutes. Plate and serve immediately!
