Ingredients
- 1 ½ to 2 ½ cups of plant-based milk
- 2 cups of frozen strawberries
- 2 cups of frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter (optional)
Instructions
- Add the plant-based milk, strawberries, pineapple, and peanut butter (if using).
- Blend for 1 minute. If it’s too thick, add plant-based milk ½ cup at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- Divide into two glasses and enjoy cold.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Adjust the consistency: Adjust the amount of liquid for a thicker or thinner smoothie. If you’re using fresh fruit, optionally add ice cubes (plant-based milk or juice to avoid watering it down) for a thicker texture.
- Sweeten to taste: We don’t add any extra sweetener, as pineapple and strawberries are both naturally sweet. However, if it’s too acidic/tart, add liquid sweetener or 1-2 dates.
- Experiment with add-ins: You can play with mix-ins based on your desired flavor or nutritional profile.
