Ingredients

  • 200 g strawberries
  • 2 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 2 springs of rosemary
  • 200 ml gin or vodka
  • ice
  • 500 ml moscato - See notes
  • 4 strawberries (for garnish)
  • 4 small springs of rosemary (for garnish)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Carefully hull the straberries and then cut them in half.
  2. Place the strawberries and rosemary into a plastic tupperware container, sprinkle over the sugar and then pour over the gin/vodka.
  3. Clip on a lid and place the container in the fridge for 24 hours.
  4. Strain the gin/vodka and then pour into a large jug of ice.
  5. Top up with the moscato and then serve garnished with a strawberry and a sprig of rosemary.

Notes

  • I like to use moscato as it gives a great additional sweetness. However if you are a fan of a drier cocktail then you can use prosecco.
  • For a cocktail lighter in alcohol, replace the wine with lemonade or soda water
