Strawberry Buttercream Recipe
Strawberry Buttercream is fresh, flavorful, and perfect for any summer dessert. Eat it on cake or by the spoonful, either way is perfect!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter 2 sticks
- 7-8 cups powdered sugar
- ¾ cup Strawberry Puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk see note
Instructions
- To make the strawberry puree, smash or blend enough strawberries to get ¾ cup - about 1 - 1 ¼ cups of strawberries with the tops cut off.
- Whip the butter until it is smooth and combined.
- Add the strawberry puree. Whisk until combined.
- Add the powdered sugar gradually until it is all combined.
- Add the vanilla and enough milk to create a smooth and creamy consistency. Add the milk just 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Whip until it is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

Notes
- Use just enough milk to bring the frosting together, it should be thick enough to hold onto a spoon turned upside down.
