Strawberry Poke Cake

Poke cakes are delicious because they have so much flavor and are super moist. This cake is full of strawberry and cheesecake and topped with a yummy layer of whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix prepared to package instructions, 18.25 ounce
  • 3 oz strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup water boiling
  • 3.4 oz cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 8 oz. whipped topping thawed
  • 2 cup strawberries sliced

Instructions

  1. Bake cake in 13x9 pan according to package instructions. Allow to cool.
  2. Using a fork, poke holes in the top of the cake.
  3. Mix together gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water until dissolved, and then pour the gelatin over the cake, making sure to pour over the holes.
  4. Next, mix together cheesecake pudding mix together with 1 ½ cups of milk. Pour and spread over the cake.
  5. Add a layer of 1 cup of strawberries.
  6. Top with whipped topping and additional cup of strawberries. Chill for 4 hours before serving.
