Strawberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pound strawberry hulled and quartered, fresh
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture occasionally, allowing the strawberries to release their natural juices and the sugar to dissolve.
- Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let the sauce cool. It can be served warm or chilled, depending on your preference.
