Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 banana room temperature
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup milk or plant-based alternative like almond milk or oat milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sweetener honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup
- 1/2 cup ice
- Optional add-ins: 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon almond butter, basil or mint leaves
Instructions
- Combine the frozen strawberries, banana pieces, Greek yogurt, milk, sweetener of choice, and ice into a blender. If using any optional add-ins, include them as well.
- Blend the mixture on high speed until it reaches a creamy and smooth consistency. Don't forget to pause a few times and scrape down the sides.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses, garnish with a frozen strawberry and a sprig of mint if desired, and serve immediately. You can also store it in a mason jar in the fridge for a couple of days.
