String Beans With Garlic & Hoisin Sauce

A simple and delicious Chinese twist on making string beans packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz string beans
  • 2 tsp oil for saute
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Cut ends of string beans off and chop into 3-4" pieces
  2. Saute garlic in 1/2 the oil until slightly brown, remove garlic from pan
  3. Saute string beans on medium into 1/2 the oil until cooked through, but not too limp.
  4. Add hoisin sauce and just enough water to spread the sauce to fully cover beans. Return garlic to pan to warm.
