Ingredients

  • 10 lices brioche bread
  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 egg large
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • butter as needed, unsalted
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • strawberry for garnish, fresh, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more powdered sugar to taste if desired.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over 5 slices of brioche bread. Top each with another slice to form sandwiches.
  3. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides. Cook each side until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  5. Top stuffed French toast with fresh strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
