Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, sharp
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt to taste
  • 12 jalapeno pepper halved and seeded, large
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Mix until well blended.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing gently to ensure the mixture is compact.
  4. Mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the stuffed jalapeños.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden and the jalapeños are tender.
