Stuffed Lasagna Shells

Love the flavors of lasagna but don’t want to deal with all the layering? Stuffed Lasagna Shells is the recipe is for you! All the same great flavors, just stuffed into pasta shells!

Ingredients

  • 1 box jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef *or turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 26 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese *grated
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese *shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook pasta shells until al dente, drain and set aside.
  3. While pasta is cooking, brown meat in a skillet until no longer pink.
  4. Drain fat.
  5. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, onion powder, and salt onto meat and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Pour in 1/2 the spaghetti sauce, all the Ricotta cheese, and all the Parmesan cheese and mix well.
  7. Scoop one spoonful of meat sauce into the shells. Add more to each shell if you have leftover meat sauce once shells are filled.
  8. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce on top of shells.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella on top of pan and cover with foil.
  10. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes, or until sauce is bubbly! Serve!!
