Sugar Free Cranberry Sauce (Keto)

It is really simple to make sugar free cranberry sauce at home. The perfect side dish to turkey and other festive meat! Ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cranberries, fresh or frozen 350g
  • 1 cup powdered sweetener  150g (use ¾ cup if you prefer more tartness)
  • 1 tablespoon brandy optional
  • ¼ cup water 60ml

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients in a pot. Bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce to a medium heat and cook for around 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from the heat once the cranberries have popped and the liquid is reducing. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.

Notes

  • 7g net carbs per serving. Makes 6 servings of 2 tablespoons each. 
  • Makes around 250 grams of cranberry sauce. 
  • Option to add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick or 1 tablespoon orange zest to the recipe.
