Summer Salad | Classic Caprese Salad
This classic caprese salad is bursting with all the scrumptious flavors of summer - ripe, sweet tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, aromatic basil, and the best balsamic glaze.

Ingredients
- 3 medium sized heirloom tomatoes sliced into 1/4" rounds
- 12 oz fresh mozzarella sliced into 1/4" rounds
- bunch fresh basil leaves
- Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
- Balsamic vinegar or Balsamic glaze for drizzling
Instructions
- Arrange sliced tomatoes and sliced mozzarella on a large plate so that they overlap.
- Tuck the basil leaves in between the layers of tomatoes and Mozzarella, using as much or as little as you'd like. Then, sprinkle a bit of kosher salt and black pepper on top.
- To finish the caprese, drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar on top, making sure each slice receives a drizzle. Serve immediately.
