- 1 medium red onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauceĀ
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste

Instructions
- Heat oil in a large heavy bottomed pan over medium heat. Add tomatoes and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until they're so soft they're begun to brown and burst. Remove tomatoes with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a clean plate. Add sirloin to pan and cook, breaking the meat up with a wooden spatula, until browned. Add onions and cook for another 5-6 minutes, or until onions begin to become soft and translucent. Add garlic, brown sugar, and seasoning salt. Stir and cook for 1 minute. Add vinegar, worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and red wine. Add tomatoes back to the mixture. Stir in basil. Reduce heat and simmer for another 5-6 minutes. Taste and adjust spices as needed. Scoop onto buttered rolls, and eat!!!
