Super Green Smoothie with Green Apple and Banana

Ingredients

  • 2 cups super greens **Combination of baby spinach, baby red & green chard, & baby kale
  • ½ cup almond coconut milk, unsweetened
  • ½ cup ice
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 green apple, peeled, cored, & diced
  • 1 very ripe banana

Instructions

  1. Place the super greens, almond coconut milk, ice, Greek yogurt, green apple, and banana into a blender.  
  2. Blend very well until smooth and creamy. Drink immediately. Enjoy.
  3. Side Note: The apple gives the smoothie a bit of a grainy texture, which didn't bother me, but if you prefer smooth and creamy smoothies, try blending this smoothie extra well and strain through a fine sieve if desired.
