Ingredients

For Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breasts cubed
  • 1 Cup cornstarch
  • salt + pepper
  • 1-2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
For Sweet And Sour Sauce
  • 1 Cup orange juice natural or store bought
  • 3 Tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
Garnish
  • green onions chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Place all the cornstarch inside a large zip top bag
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and insert into the zip top bag
  4. Close the bag and shake it until all the chicken is coated with the cornstarch
  5. Meanwhile heat 1 Tablespoon of Oil over medium heat in a large skillet
  6. Remove the cornstarch excess from the chicken and cook in the skillet until browned on every side. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan
  7. Place cooked chicken in a large rectangular baking pan
  8. In a bowl place all the sauce ingredients and mix until combined
  9. Pour the sauce over the chicken
  10. Bake chicken for 30-40 or until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through. Stir every 15 minutes to ensure that the sauce coats the chicken all over
  11. Remove from oven and top with green onions
  12. Enjoy!
