Sweet and Spicy Baked Chicken Wings

Sweet, spicy, and sticky, these baked chicken wings are marinated with sriracha, honey, oyster sauce, and ketchup for the best flavor. A perfect finger food for parties.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoon sweet rice wine (mirim)
  • 1 green onion finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large zip bag, combine all the marinade ingredients except the chicken wings and the green onion. Mix well.
  2. Add the wings and toss well to coat. Set aside for 30 minutes or chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350˚F, line a baking sheet with a piece of foil. Add the wings to the baking sheet. Reserve the marinade and set aside. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Pour the reserved marinade over the wings and toss to coat. Continue to bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Turn the wings to the other side and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes or the wings get coated with sticky glaze.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with green onion.
