Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce Sriracha
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 red onion cut into wedges, small
  • 1 bell pepper cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 ½ pounds beef sirloin cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces, boneless
  • pineapple fresh, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, chili sauce, garlic, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add the onions, peppers, and beef to the marinade and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours; stirring occasionally.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread beef, vegetables and pineapple onto 4 12-inch, metal skewers.
  5. Place kebabs on grill and cook, turning occasionally for about 7-8 minutes or until a thermometer reaches 130°- 135°F for medium rare.
