Sweet Gingery Tofu

Sweet Gingery Tofu is a great vegetarian meal that packs tons of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound firm or extra firm tofu, drained
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce or Braggs amino acids
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place tofu in a towel to remove as much liquid/water as possible. 
  3. Cut tofu into even 1/2 inch slices.
  4. Mix the remaining ingredients in a 11 x 7 inch baking dish.
  5. Place tofu in marinade, coating both sides, and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden.
