Sweet Honey Muffins Recipe

These simple sweet honey muffins are sweetened with a little bit of agave (or honey). They are melt-in-your-mouth good!!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup agave or honey

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine egg, milk, butter and agave. Stir wet ingredients into dry and mix just until moistened.
  2. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until golden and baked through. Cool 5 minutes then remove to a wire rack. Serve warm.
