Ingredients

Sweet Potato Mixture:
  • 3 cups sweet potato mashed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter softened, unsalted
  • 2 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk whole
Streusel topping:
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup walnuts , chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter melted, unsalted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 2-quart baking dish with vegetable oil spray.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract and whole milk.
  3. Spread mixture in baking dish.
  4. In a medium bowl mash together flour, brown sugar, walnuts and butter and sprinkle over the sweet potatoes.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until topping is browned and crisp.
