Taco Dip
Taco Dip is a super easy and oh so delicious appetizer that combines refried beans, a cream cheese and sour cream layer and all your favorite taco toppings. Serve with tortilla chips at your next party!
Ingredients
- 16 oz refried beans
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 oz taco seasoning packet (or 4 tbsp of homemade taco seasoning)
- 6 oz cheddar cheese finely shredded, sharp
- 1 1/2 cups lettuce finely shredded
- 1/2 cup tomato fresh, finely diced
- 2.25 oz black olive sliced
- 2 green onions diced (about 1/4 cup)
Instructions
- Open refried beans can and spread into the bottom of a medium baking dish.
- With a hand mixer, in a small bowl beat the cream cheese until smooth. Should only take 1 minute if softened.
- Add sour cream and taco seasoning and continue mixing for another minute. Scrape sides of bowl with a rubber spatula and give one more good mix until well combined.
- Spread cream cheese mixture into baking dish on top of beans.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over cream cheese mixture.
- Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and green onions.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve with corn tortilla chips.
