Tahini Yogurt Sauce
This multi-purpose, easy recipe for Mediterranean tahini yogurt sauce is earthy, tangy, velvety smooth, and can be made in just 5 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 1 lemon (1/2 grated lemon zest plus 2 tablespoons juice)
- 2 tbsp mint minced, leaves
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Zest half of the lemon and then juice it. You need 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
- In a bowl whisk together the yogurt, lemon zest and juice, mint, tahini, water, salt and pepper.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve over steamed vegetables, as a dipping sauce or over grilled meats.
