Tamarind Margarita (Mexican Candy Margaritas)

Inspired by sweet and sour Mexican Candy, this Tamarind Margarita recipe is a fiesta of flavor! Perfect for Cinco de Mayo, Taco Tuesday, or any time you want to try something especial!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 2 oz Sweet & Sour Drink Mix
  • 1 oz Tamarind Drink already mixed
  • 1 Tbsp Tajin Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Run a lime wedge along the rim of your margarita glass
  2. Pour out your Tajin and sugar onto a plate and mix to combine. Dip the rim of your glass into the tajin mix.
  3. Add the tequila, Sweet & Sour mix, and Tamarind Drink to your drink shaker mixer..
  4. Shake well, strain into your margarita glass, and enjoy!
  5. Garnish with lime and Mexican tamarind candy or lollipops.
