Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken is a classic Indian dinner that marinates chicken legs in a creamy yogurt base, blended spice mix and freshly squeezed lime juice then cooked in the oven. This its a MUST have dinner recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 bone-in skinless chicken legs
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice about half a lime
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam marsala
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic cloves minced

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup plain greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon lime juice, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 2 teaspoons paprika, 2 teaspoons turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam marsala, and 1 tablespoon minced garlic cloves in a medium bowl. Add 3 bone-in skinless chicken legs and mix until the chicken is fully coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  2. Once the chicken is done marinating, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place an oven-safe rack on top of a baking sheet and bake the chicken for 20 minutes. Flip the chicken over nad bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
