Tartar Sauce

This homemade Tartar Sauce recipe is creamy, fresh, and elevates any seafood dish! It only takes 5 minutes to make, and tastes so much better than store-bought!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt , or sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon capers , drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 garlic clove , minced
  • 1/2 of a small lemon , juiced
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish , optional, for a kick
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  2. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  3. Serve with fish and chips, air fryer salmon bites, or crab cakes.
