Ingredients

  • 1 garlic approximately 10 cloves, bulb
  • neutral cooking oil for frying, generic cooking oil

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Take 1 garlic bulb and peel the cloves. Trim the ends and remove the cores (germ) to prevent bitterness.
  2. Thinly slice the cloves.
  3. Place them in a bowl of cold water and swish to remove residue.
  4. Drain and pat thoroughly with kitchen paper to dry them.
  5. Place the garlic slices in a small cold pan and add cooking oil until submerged. Heat on medium-low, and when the oil starts to bubble, reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
  6. Gently fry the garlic until they become golden. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  7. Once golden, use a mesh spoon to scoop the garlic slices out of the oil and place on kitchen paper to absorb any excess oil.
  8. Store in an airtight container to maintain the crispiness and enjoy on ramen, salads and more!
