Tequila Berry Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries frozen or fresh
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅔ cup water
  • 2 ½ oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz club soda you can add more if you would like it on the lighter side
  • 2 ½ oz berry syrup

Instructions

  1. Get out and measure your ingredients.

  1. In a saucepan mix the berries, sugar, and water.
  2. Place on the stove and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the water has thickened, and the berries are soft.
  3. Use a cocktail muddler or masher to mash up the berries. Cook for a couple more minutes.
  4. Strain syrup and discard the pieces. Set aside.
Cocktail directions
  1. Fill the shaker with ice and add tequila
  2. triple sec
  3. lime juice
  4. and berry syrup.
  5. Close the lid, and shake until combined and chilled. (Approximately 30 seconds).
  6. Fill your glass with ice and strain the drink again while pouring, if desired.
  7. Top up with club soda and stir.
  8. Garnish with mint and extra berries.
  9. Enjoy every sip!
