Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloins boneless
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt sea salt
  • vegetable oil , for frying
Texas Roadhouse Cajun Horseradish Sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce prepared
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish sauce prepared
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into strips.
  2. Soak the chicken strips in buttermilk for about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the flour, seasoning salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and white pepper in a bowl.
  4. Stir the club soda into the dry ingredients until well mixed.
  5. Take the chicken out of the buttermilk and dry it with paper towels.
  6. Heat a pot of oil on medium-high heat.
  7. Cover each chicken strip in the batter, then drop into the oil. Cook each strip for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Place the chicken strips on paper towels to drain excess oil after cooked.
  9. Sprinkle the sea salt over the strips and serve.
Texas Roadhouse Cajun Horseradish Sauce
  1. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, chili sauce, horseradish sauce, and cayenne pepper together.
  2. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
