Texas Sheet Cake

Texas Sheet Cake offers a moist, thin chocolate cake baked on a large sheet pan and topped with a glossy chocolate icing often sprinkled with chopped pecans. The cake uses cocoa, buttermilk, and yogurt for moisture and tenderness, resulting in a rich but delicate crumb. The warm icing is poured over the hot cake, melding into the surface and setting to a fudgy finish. This indulgent cake is a classic choice for sharing with a crowd.
