Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut your French bread loaf lengthwise and place it on top of a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and shredded cheese. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread.
  3. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until butter is melted and bubbly. You can also broil the top for 1-2 minutes, in the end, to give it a more crisp top.
  4. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
