- ¼ c. grated yellow or white onion
- 2 large cloves garlic minced
- 15 oz. Red Gold Tomato Sauce
- 6 oz. Red Gold Tomato Paste

- 1 tsp. kosher salt

Instructions
- Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add olive oil. Once olive oil is shimmering, stir in onion and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes, or until softened and fragrant, stirring occasionally.
- Add Red Gold tomato sauce and tomato paste, sugar, salt, oregano, basil, black pepper, and crushed red pepper. Stir to combine.
- Turn heat up just a bit. Stir occasionally until it is thoroughly warmed, and then reduce heat to low. Let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring every now and then. Remove saucepan from heat.
- Use this pizza sauce with my favorite thin crust pizza dough recipe!
Cup of Yum
