Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 3 ½ cups quick oats
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized sauce pan over medium-high heat, add the ½ cup unsalted butter, 2 cups granulated sugar, ½ cup milk, and 4 tablespoons cocoa powder . Bring to a rolling boil for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in ½ cup peanut butter , 3 ½ cups quick oats , and 1 tablespoon vanilla and mix until incorporated.
  3. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a medium-sized cookie scoop, scoop the cookies and drop them onto the parchment paper.
  4. Let the cookies set and cool to room temperature or refrigerate them before serving.
