Ingredients

  • 16 ounces thick-cut bacon
  • 12 lices thick sandwich bread
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 vine tomatoes , sliced
  • 1 head romaine lettuce , thinly sliced
  • 8 lices cheddar cheese
  • 8 lices ham
  • 8 lices turkey

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in batches in a large skillet on medium-high until chewy and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Toast sandwich bread.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of bread slices.
  4. Layer with sliced tomatoes, salt, pepper, lettuce, and four slices of bacon.
  5. Top with the second slice of toasted bread.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on the second side of this middle slice of bread.
  7. Add additional lettuce, a slice of cheddar, 2 slices of ham, and 2 slices of turkey.
  8. Top with remaining slices of bread.
  9. Press down gently, and place 4 toothpicks into the sandwich, one in each corner.
  10. Cut into 4 triangles and serve.
