Tuna Casserole

Quick and easy Tuna Casserole recipe with a creamy tuna mixture with egg noodles, peas and cheese then topped with a buttery panko topping!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • ¼ cup onion finely diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cans tuna in water drained, (5 ounces each)
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup (10 ounces each)
  • ½ cup milk
Crumb Topping
  • ½ cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Boil noodles al dente according to package directions. Drain off water.
  3. While noodles are boiling, in a large bowl combine, onions, peas, soup, milk, cheese and tuna. Mix well. Stir in prepared noodles.
  4. Spread noodle mixture into the prepared 9x13 inch baking dish
  5. Combine the topping ingredients in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the casserole.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 18-20 minutes or until bubbly and topping is golden brown.
