Tuna Lettuce Wraps Recipe
Using what you have on-hand in your pantry, you can whip up these tasty Tuna Lettuce Wraps for a quick lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 10 ounces tuna 2 5-ounce cans, drained, chunk style
- ¼ cup red onion finely minced
- ¼ cup celery diced
- ⅓ cup walnuts chopped
- lemon juice of half
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 egg peeled and chopped, hard-boiled
- salt to taste, sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper fresh-ground
- bibb lettuce OR Boston or Romaine lettuce leaves, leaves
- tomato optional, sliced
- avocado optional, sliced
Instructions
- Combine tuna, onion, celery, walnuts, lemon juice, mayonnaise, hard-boiled eggs, sea salt, and pepper in a bowl and stir well to combine.
- Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves, and top with sliced tomatoes and avocados if using. Serve immediately.
