- 10 ounces chunk tuna 2 5-ounce cans, drained
- ¼ cup finely minced red onion
- ¼ cup diced celery
- ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 hard-boiled eggs peeled and chopped
- sea salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
- Bibb lettuce leaves OR Boston or Romaine lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes and avocados optional
Instructions
- Combine tuna, onion, celery, walnuts, lemon juice, mayonnaise, hard-boiled eggs, sea salt, and pepper in a bowl and stir well to combine.
- Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves, and top with sliced tomatoes and avocados if using. Serve immediately.
