Ingredients
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 8 ounces Monterey jack cheese sliced
- 12 ounces roasted turkey sliced
- 8 tablespoons cranberry sauce
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Spread 4 slices of bread with Dijon mustard. Layer with cheese, turkey and cranberry sauce; top with remaining bread.
- Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter, spreading butter all the way to to the edges of the bread.
- Place sandwiches in the skillet, pressing down lightly with the back of a spatula. Cover and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve immediately.
