Valentine Puff Pastry Cookies

Puff pastry is cut into hearts and topped with creamy Nutella and raspberries for a Valentine's Day cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 box frozen puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 1 pint raspberries

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Defrost the puff pastry dough by putting it in the refrigerator overnight. Or leave it on the counter at room temperature for 20-40 minutes.
  2. Pre-heat the oven to 375 F.
  3. Unroll the puff pastry and place on a floured surface.
  4. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut the dough.
  5. Use a knife to carefully move the hearts to an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Add 1/2 t. of Nutella to the center of each cookie.
  7. Cut a raspberry in half and press each half into the Nutella.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes until crisp.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
